How It All Started
I’ve spent the past 7 years raising Golden Retrievers. At the age of 20, I purchased my very first Golden Retriever, Missy. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching her basic commands and spending quality time together. She was always excited to join me on outings, especially enjoying rides on the pickup truck.

Why Pinehill Goldens?
The name Pinehill Goldens comes from our very first piece of land, a quiet five-acre property nestled beside a beautiful grove of pine trees. We placed a small mobile home there. The towering pines that framed that little hillside left a lasting impression on us, and the name Pinehill Goldens seemed a perfect fit.
We’ve since moved to a six-acre property with a pond and a larger home, where our Golden Retrievers have more space to run and play. This new property offers them plenty of room to enjoy outdoor activities, playing fetch in the water, which is something they love.

I’m a creative by nature, with a background in photography, graphic design, and web design. My wife grew up on a dairy farm in southeast Iowa, and enjoys animals and the outdoors. Our children have grown up alongside our dogs and love spending time outdoors playing and helping care for our puppies. These are truly puppies raised with children, loved and socialized from the start with a child’s affection.
