2. Terms of the Genetic Health Guarantee:

This guarantee is valid for one year from the date of purchase as indicated above.
This guarantee covers genetic health issues affecting the following conditions:

• Hip Dysplasia
• Elbow Dysplasia
• Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
• Congenital Heart Defects
• Any other genetically inherited disorders as defined by the breed standards recognized by the AKC (American Kennel Club)

3. Obligations of the Purchaser:

To activate the guarantee, the purchaser agrees to:

• Provide the puppy with a proper and healthy home environment.
• Follow a regular veterinary care schedule including vaccinations, routine check-ups, and any recommended health screenings.
• Feed the puppy a high-quality, nutritious diet and maintain appropriate exercise and socialization.
• Notify Pine Hill Goldens immediately if any genetic health issue arises.

4. Claims Process:

To make a claim under this guarantee, the purchaser must:

• Contact us within 30 days of the diagnosis of a genetic health issue by a licensed veterinarian.
• Provide a written veterinary report verifying the genetic condition.
• Supply a copy of the puppy’s initial Genetic Health Guarantee and proof of regular veterinary care.
• Allow us to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice, if necessary.

5. Remedies for Valid Claims:

Upon verification of a valid claim, Pinehill Goldens will provide one of the following remedies:

• Replacement Puppy: The purchaser may select a replacement puppy of comparable value from a future litter.
• Refund: A refund of the purchase price of the puppy will be issued.
• We will not be responsible for any veterinary expenses or liability incurred by the purchaser regarding the puppy.

6. Exclusions:

This guarantee does not cover:

• Conditions arising from neglect, accidents, abuse, or environmental factors.
• Any pre-existing conditions, illnesses, or injuries existing at the time of the sale.
• Conditions resulting from breeding or any intentional or unintentional breeding of the dog.
• Normal wear and tear associated with aging or non-genetic health issues.
